Dale marvels at the relentless energy and inventiveness of comedian, actor, and producer, Jenny Gorelick. It turns out that Jenny and Dale have a lot in common, from loving birthday celebrations to attending the same prestigious theater program at Brown University. Reflecting back on his time in Providence, Dale recalls his younger self, full of vim and vigor and weird choices made in the name of theater. Jenny discusses her path from New Jersey through Rhode Island to New York – and her quick ascension to becoming a ubiquitous presence on the comedy scene. With shows most days of the week, Jenny still finds time to work for the Tony Awards and appear in commercials, TV shows, and more. Dale went into this episode a little blue, but he emerges inspired and recharged and ready for warmer months ahead. Plus Dale shares some thoughts on living with theater people.
For all of Jenny’s shows – you’d need a calendar a mile thick – so instead, just visit her website and try to keep up. It’s all here: http://jennygorelick.com/
And Save the Date: March 13th – Deep Night with Dale is live at The Slipper Room with an all-star lineup of comedians and writers.
