Dale fills his psychic tub with salt water and crystals in advance of this conversation with Erica Bradbury, the owner and founder of Species by the Thousands, a mystical wellness outpost in Williamsburg. Erica grew up with a connection to the otherworldly, and she discusses her early years in the haunted old homes of New England. She tells Dale about living among the legacy of the infamous Borden family, and the discoveries made by her grandfather, a gifted medium and well-loved character about town who had a spectacular basement that looked even better under blacklight. Dale asks Erica about her involvement in the electronic music project, Long Distance Poison, and the two try to find some reason as to why people and things tend to fall apart at the end of the year.
