Dale shakes loose some leftover Solstice glitter from the folds of his holiday turtleneck and rings in the New Year with a conversation with singer/songwriter Pearl Charles. From a secluded hideout in the desert, Pearl joins Dale for a discussion about her new album Magic Mirror, which is out everywhere on January 15th. The two also talk cult appeal, finding inspiration during a pandemic, shopping for crystals, and what happens when you merge country with disco. Captivated by the sounds of the early 70s, the two bond over a fondness for that era and reminisce about afternoons spent rifling through a record store bins and unearthing rare vinyl treasures. Plus Dale waxes poetic about eels and his youth as a teen rollerskating king.
