Dale closes the thirteenth season of the show in epic fashion, convinced he’s caught in the gravitational pull of a black hole. As time shifts around him, the entire season of the podcast flashes before his eyes, and he gains insights he never thought possible. Dale finds connective tissue from one conversation to the next and appreciates all that his guests have offered him over this last strange year on earth. Attempts to emerge from the darkness find him hovering above his neighbors backyards, moving through toxic plumes along the Gowanus, and somehow entering the second dimension and appearing as himself in his own posters. The episode includes a special thanks to artists Katie Mulligan and Madi Harper, who made such amazing images that have yet to be used as intended (but they will be) along with shout outs to Maryam Qudus of Spacemoth for the new theme, Filipa Beleza for her striking new image, and of course the fellas at Howler Hills Farms. Thanks to you the listener as well for sticking through an unusual time of it in the Deep Night! Till next time…
