Dale gazes upon the starry night sky of the NY comedy scene and spots a shooting star, Tina Friml! Tina recently moved to New York and is still enjoying all that this city of puddles and pigeons has to offer. From her basement apartment, Tina’s got her eyes on the prize and on what sounds like a surprising amount of activity near the recycling containers. Dale talks with Tina about growing up in Vermont, finding her comedic voice, and feeling overwhelmed by opportunity at the exact point in time that the rest of the world seems to be slipping away. Tina walks through her experience at Just For Laughs, and tells Dale about the difficult moment where things seemed bleak, but comedy swooped in to open up new possibilities.
