Dale tosses a ziplock bag full of fur and googly eyes into the air and lets destiny takes its course in this conversation with comedian and frequent-flyer, Phoebe Bottoms. Dale asks Phoebe about her current experience being bi-coastal, producing and performing in shows in New York while living in LA. The two also talk about finding characters, building personas, and what it’s like to be trained by the Henson Company in the fine art of puppetry. As it turns out, Phoebe puppeteering runs in the family, as her father played a role in the early days of Sesame Street and The Muppet Show. Phoebe also shares some thoughts on little meals, her dislike of whimsy, and the importance of gathering your witches together on a regular basis. Plus Dale finds out he had a man with puppet dreams in his family, too.
For more on Phoebe follow her on social media or check out the Good God show, the next time it hits NYC at the Sultan Room.
