Deep Night Season 11: Irene Morales

Dale sets up his vision board for the year ahead and quickly realizes his first goal as he welcomes comedian Irene Morales to the Deep Night. Originally from Miami, Irene fills Dale in on some her family’s treasured Florida holiday traditions, like roasting a pig in a box and harboring doubts about this comedy thing. Dale and Irene also talk about crystals, being intuitive, and strange things that happen on the backroads of the Everglades. She explains the differences between “ghosting” and “mosting” and the two trace Irene’s comedy trajectory from early stand up gigs in Miami to finding her way to New York. Plus, everyone learns a little something about Paraguay. The tenth year of Deep Night is off to a terrific start! Remember to rate and review the show on Apple Podcasts or tune in on Spotify.

Visit Irene Morales’ website for her latest comedy shows and gigs around NYC. There are two chances to catch Dale live over the next week. First, Dale flies to San Francisco for SF Sketchfest on Sunday January 13th at 8pm at Piano Fight. Then it’s back to NYC for a live show at The Slipper Room with Maria Dizzia, Katie Hannigan, X Mayo, and Vera Sola. With music from Cushions and dance from The Deep Night Dancers. Tickets still available for both shows!
